For providing energy saving solutions for a greener world, Delta Electronics has been listed as one of China’s Top 50 Green Companies for the third consecutive year in the private enterprise category.
The award ceremony was held in the city of Wuhan in the Hubei province of China at the end of April. The vice president of Delta Greentech Mr. Daryl Liao accepted the honor on behalf of Delta and attended the Top 100 Companies Forum to share Delta Electronics’ experience in practicing green operations and developing green technologies and products.
China’s Top 100 Green Companies are selected annually through a series of surveys. It was originally started by a Chinese entrepreneur club and has been organized by the Daonong Center for Enterprise and Green Company magazine since its first survey five years ago. Delta Electronics was listed on the Top 50 in both 2010 and 2011. By receiving this honor for three consecutive years, Delta Electronic was acclaimed as a company of the 21st century by the organizer of the annual China Top 100 Green Companies awards.
Among the listed companies, representatives of Delta Electronics, Shenyang Yuanda Mechanical & Electrical Equipment Co., Yida Group and ABB were invited to join the Top 100 Forum. At the forum, Mr. Liao Chin-Long, vice president of the Delta Greentech, pointed out that "Care for Environmental Protection, Energy Saving and Our Green Earth” is the vision of Delta Electronics. Delta not only focuses on environmental protection, employee care, and social responsibility but also emphasizes its branding activities and energy technology development to provide better energy-saving solutions to the world.
Mr. Li Hongzhong, Secretary of Hubei Province, China, attended the ceremony and congratulated the selected companies this year in his speech. More than 300 people attended the event and many local and national media representatives also were present to record the event.
